DIY Manicure Christmas ornament | + a Jamberry Giveaway!!

Have you heard of Jamberry nail wraps?

When I first heard about them I didn't know what all of the fuss was about, but then I decided to try them and it was love!

Jamberry wraps are amazing "stickers" that stick to your nail using heat and pressure.  You can use a hair dryer, but of course Jamberry makes their own heater that works fabulously well for applying your wraps.  They last up to two weeks on fingers, and 4-6 weeks on toes!

I think Jamberry is so fabulous that I'm giving out sheets of Jamberry for Christmas gifts this year.  One of my favorite ways to give Jamberry is in a Christmas ornament.  How cute is that?!  They are super easy to make, too.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Clear plastic ornament
  • Sheet of Jamberry
  • Filler (such as tinsel or shredded paper)
  • Scissors
  • String
  • Embellishments like ribbon or bows

1.  Start by cutting a sheet of Jamberry nail wraps in half, lengthwise.

2.  Fill half of the ornament with filler.  I used red shredded paper that I found at the craft store.

3.  Put 1/2 sheet of nail wraps in the other half of the ornament.  Fill the rest of the ornament with filler and put the two halves together.

4.  Use a piece of string (I used baker's twine) to hang the ornament.

5.  Add an embellishment at the top (like these burlap bows I found at the craft store) and your ornament is complete!  If you have a large enough ornament, you could even add some small manicure tools or a small nail polish to go with it.

Now comes the really fun part.  I am giving away free Jamberry!  There will be TWO lucky winners.  One winner will win the ornament and nail wraps pictured in this post.  The second winner will win a free sheet of nail wraps of her (or his) choice!

If you've been thinking about trying Jamberry, now is the perfect time to enter!  Just follow these easy steps on the raffle form below.  There are multiple ways for you to win!  Winners will be announced on 12/19/2014.
